I’ve never experienced a “pay it forward” moment before that night. Plenty of people have helped me and I help others, but I’ve never had someone pick up the ticket at a restaurant and tell us our bill was already covered, then instruct us to pay it forward.

Love Makes All the Difference
The church in Ephesus was surrounded by wickedness, yet pursued holiness. But God still had something against them; they had forgotten and left their first love. It was almost as if they were cheating on God with religious holiness. After all, what is holiness without love?
