X is for X-Ray

In the fictional world, Superman had x-ray vision which allowed him to see through things.
In the real world, Doctors use X-rays to take pictures of what’s going on inside a body.
And I guess you could say that God has x-ray vision, too.
The Bible says “…God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”  I Samuel 16:7
I sure am glad that God looks past my physical appearance and looks instead at my heart.

  1. Me too! Although sometimes when my heart's gone askew for a moment or two, I wish He'd stop at my physical appearance! Just a great reminder to always try to be a good person, no matter how you're feeling 🙂
