Time to get busy marketing.
Networking with other blogs high on the agenda.
I began reading blogs to figure out where I fit. There are a lot out there and after a while, they all started looking the same.

If King Solomon was alive, I think instead of saying there was no end to the writing of books (Ecclesiastes 12:12) he would say, “the making of blogs there is no end, and much web surfing is a weariness to the body.”
Successful blogging appears to have a science about it. Paraphrasing what I have learned, successful bloggers advise(among many other tips):
· Blog more often
· Be consistent which days you blog
· Find a hook
· Blog the same kind of thing each post so your audiences know what to expect
· Keep it short
· Blog your heart
· Blog what your audience wants
· Be a fountain of information
Trying to follow all these tips can be like trying to follow the bread crumb trail scattered over the forest floor. A feat of heroic proportions at best. And while these are good bits of advice and worth following, here’s some tips I’m trying to follow to stay sane.
· Be myself. Be real. Blog in my own voice. (stop comparing myself to other bloggers)
· Follow what God has put on my heart.
· Keep God first, then family before all my efforts in marketing.
· Relax. There may seem to be a formula, but ultimately my success or failure lies in God’s hands.
· Take time off to rest BEFORE I blow a fuse.
Do you have any tips you follow that help you accomplish your mission better (blogging or otherwise)?

Very true. I know our conversations, meetings, and the recent conference are all full of great "how-to" tips and informative suggestions. Those excite and encourage me. And yet it quickly starts to feel like a chore trying to meet all of those requirements to the letter. Blogging should feel a little bit natural and not completely like work, right? Thanks for sharing your experiences and your suggestions.
There is definitely a balance in there. Certain things do help raise your notice ability, but it's easy to lose yourself when you stop having fun! So, go enjoy your writing 🙂 Then hit the share button.
These are all excellent, esp. the part about balance, honesty and trusting God to guide your work. Confirmation for me!
