New York City

Welcome to my blog. I am currently participating in the A to Z challenge.
Blogging my way through the alphabet one letter at a time.
For my theme I have chosen to give you a peek inside the journal of Karen,
the main character of my soon to be released novel, Bruised Reed
Click on the Novel tab to learn more. Enjoy!

From Karen’s journal….

I just got a call from the restaurant I interviewed with yesterday. The one I really wanted. Now I can  prove I have what it takes.
I hope the meeting tonight with those waitresses sharing an apartment works out until I can afford my own. It’s crazy expensive here. At least I have a decent job.
Love the city. So much to do and see. And so many opportunities. I could waste my money in no time flat.

Note to self: set up a savings account before I spend one dime on anything frivolous. And go sightseeing before I start work next week.

Check out Karen’s Pinterest board.

What was your first job?
