Alert: There’s A Teenager in the House!

Our daughter is our miracle baby. Our son was born 5 1/2 years before her, but then we had 2 miscarriages and wondered if we would have any more kids. We prayed. A lot. Then 13 Years ago last Sunday, I gave birth to my beautiful girl.

My, how time fly.  Look at her now!

She is such a delightful young lady! I am blessed to be her mother. Sometimes I wonder how in the world I can direct her through these times which don’t look a whole lot like life when I was her age. Technology has changed the face of how culture interacts.

As I write this, I had such an incredible insight. At times I have been so overwhelmed with all the technical stuff I have had to learn with marketing. Social media is not a place I would have chosen to hang out otherwise. And yet….if it had not been for the marketing forcing me into this, I would be ENTIRELY clueless when it comes to giving her direction in participating.

God really is the best at re-purposing content! He gives meaning to things we had no idea about. Things that seemed hard or impossible or useless, He can make things new and breathe life into circumstances for HIS purposes.

I serve an amazing God.

How has God re-purposed content in your life?
