Roasted Garlic

I saw a post on Pinterest for how to make Roasted Garlic. Several actually. They all pretty much said the same thing and didn’t look too hard. And it looked yummy. Now, I haven’t been so good at trying things I found on pinterest, but I thought I would try it. Here is my experiment.
Ready to go

Took the outer papery cover off, chopped off the tips of the cloves.
Put a bit of olive oil on the stone under the cloves and some drizzled on top.
Cover with tinfoil and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
DO let them cool off before you try this:

I was pleased to find it easy to do.
Now what do I do with that much garlic?
Well…I blended some in a mini-blender, then creamed it into softened cream cheese and added some dill. Don’t even ask me how much. I kept adding till it tasted right. Then we spread it on those small bell peppers. Delicious! I think this will be a favorite summer snack. Light and refreshing.

Have you tried anything interesting in the kitchen lately? Do share.

blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8
