Finding Your Sweet Spot

Welcome to my new Thursday posts. Finding your sweet spot. Living an extravagant
life for God. Surrendering the past and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts. How do we become what God created us to be?
Max Lucado talked about it in The Cure for the Common Life
Rick Warren talked about it in The Purpose Driven Life
Bruce Wilkinson talked about it in The Dream Giver
There’s D.I.S.C., Briggs Myer’s, and Gallops Strengths Finder.

All of these resources are designed to help you figure out your talents, innate strengths and spiritual giftings. All so you can live in your sweet spot. And everyone’s is unique. There is no exact replica of yours anywhere.

But there is one sweet spot where we can all live extravagantly. In Jesus. Have you found that place? Jesus came to this earth and died so we could be forgiven of our sins. No one is good enough on their own. But He has made a way for us to get to heaven, when we believe in Him, calling on his name as we turn from our sins and walk with him in obedience. Oh, what amazing grace!
But what about here and now? What about finding that place that make life fuller and richer because you know you’re in the place you’re supposed to be? Doing what you’re supposed to be doing?
It takes a bit of exploring to figure it out. Whether you take all the tests and read all the books or just work on doing what you already do– a bit differently, it requires living outside of the box.
It’s not a perfect life. But it is extravagant.
Come join the exploration. Every Thursday, keep your eyes open for the guide posts. See you here.
Have you found a useful resource for finding your sweet spot?
