8 Ways to Build your Marriage

 Part 1
The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
Proverbs 14:1
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31:10-12
“I made a decision early in my marriage to treat your dad like I would any brother in the faith.”

Words will either bring peace or sow discord in our home. Different opinions, habits and personalities can quickly turn the honeymoon sour as a couple tries to negotiate the waters of communication. Consumed with who was right and what is fair, selfishness will drive away the desire for peace.
Building a godly home is reason to pray before you speak, bite your tongue when you would much rather have your say, and use wisdom in your words. In the next few weeks, join me as I look at eight ways to build up your marriage through communication.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:21
Do you speak to your husband with the same care you speak to other brothers and sisters in the faith?
